Terminal for passengers consists of three, technologically interconnected, parts: the departure terminal (building A – the year of putting in service 1970), the arrival terminal B (the year of putting in service 1994) and the arrival terminal C (the year of putting in service 06/2006). The departure terminal serves for international as well as domestic flights.
There are fast food and restaurant facilities, shops, bank and exchange office premises and offices of air carriers, situated in this terminal. There are 18 check-in desks, with the dispatching system CUTE installed in them and a new transport system with 100% control of checked-in baggage from the company EAS, available to dispatch the passengers. One check-in desk for large-size baggage is situated here as well.
A complex airport information system (CAIS) supplied by the company LYNX has been installed by the end of the year in order to provide information to the passengers as well as in order to optimize the operation activities.
The first floor of the old departure terminal is connected with the terminal newer part by means of a corridor, where there are 9 gates and the Airline Business Club situated. The purpose of the arrival terminal is to receive the arriving passengers.
The terminal capacity is 2 million passengers per year. For dispatching the passengers and crews of General Aviation and aircrews serves the
General Aviation Terminal (GAT).
