Seven recreational areas  which are accessible from the road that forms an ornamental border around the lake. Each centre provides a wide range of accommodation and catering services. Beautiful spaces for camping and caravaning are especially evident. Lovers of comfort and a high standard of recreation facilities will certainly find something to their liking among the many possibilities offered by the centres: chalet parks, bungalows, hotels, recreation centres and private guest-houses.

The surroundings of Zemplinska Sirava form an excellent recreation area for the autumn months too. The southern slopes of the hills and ridges are thickly covered with vineyards where visitors can take part in traditional harvesting and the preparations for winemaking, so typical in the local villages. The dense, extensive forests of the Vihorlat hills are a paradise for game animals of all kinds, and a sense of satisfaction and personal challenge can be gained from the ascent up to Sninsky kamen (Snina Rock) and the view over the fascinating scenery around Morske oko. (Sea's Eye).
